New Shoes from New York Fashion Week

London Fashion week is in full swing but it's quiet here in New York. In the aftermath of NYFW a few shoes are still on my mind. Some good, some not so good. Here are my highlights....Winner!These crazy ass shoes, shown by Vera Wang and accented by crazy toes McGee on the left, are my favorite so far. You guys know I LOVE my tranny hooker shoes and if these aren't... I don't know what is. Proof? Beyonce was wearing a pair in the front row. Girl knows her T.H. shoes.Another shoe to love are these amazing wedges by Derek Lam. Love. While on the subject of wedges, […] Read More

Less Stretch, More Sass

With all these leggings and jeggings and sweat pants that look like skinny jeans and jeans that stretch to 10x their original size, it's hard to wear anything else. I've gotten so comfortable with comfort. Every once in a while though, I like to pull out the true denim. The stiff, heavy kind. My legs were so confused with all that breathing room...(jeans- Dittos, top- F21, bag- Alexander Wang, necklace- Obey, glasses- Norma Kamali, shoes- Charles Jourdan)I love these shoes! There is so much WOOD ;) shown for Spring trends and I just love the color on this. The rust leather and tonal bottom.... great. Plus […] Read More

A Shoe Story

I read this story the other day on a fellow fabulous blogger's site, RedHeadFashionista. She entered it into Elle for their annual talent contest to find a fabulous new writer, and though she didn't win, I thought it was great and asked her if I could share it with my readers. I love a good shoe story and figured you would too...ELLE Talent Competition - 'Do you really need another pair of shoes?'I feel like I'm sitting in front of a firing squad. I guess it sort of is a matter of life and death. The life being able to provide myself with food and coffee for […] Read More

Over the River and Through the Woods…

To Grandmother's House We Go! Ok, not really. I mean, we live by the beach and my g-ma is about 10 minutes away. But you know what I mean.Today I took my Grandma to lunch. My Grandma is a super stylish French-Moroccan who is always up on the latest designers and trends. In fact- she gave me a stack of magazine tears today, which is so beyond cute... I mean, I told her I wanted to hire her as my assistant! She pulls some really great stuff from all her Parisian mags. ANYWAY- so lunch with Granny means no slacking off in the outfit department.
